    You're a gun sales executive with a track record in sales team management.

    In broad terms: With a brief to develop both new and existing accounts, you will have complete responsibility of the sales force. Your strong leadership will be reflected in the positive, effective structure of your approach and communications.

    Specific responsibilities include: Achieving revenue targets. Hiring, training, mentoring and coaching sales execs. Reporting, forecasting and analysing. Determining the team's sales tools and methods, as well as remuneration.

    Requirements: An understanding the surf market. An outstanding record in sales (6-8 years) and sales management (3-5 years), ideally in print, online and other digital media platforms. A passion for sales and results, the ability to multi-task and delegate in a fast-moving environment. Equal parts intelligence and intuition – to be highly adept at conceptual thinking but also to put those concepts into action.

    This position would best suit: Someone looking to get out of the city rat race and continue their career in a relaxed, friendly yet highly professional environment free of office politics and bureaucratic red tape. An interest in our titles by lifestyle or other association is great, but not essential.

    The salary package will be equal to skills and experience.

    This position’s key goal is to drive advertising and sponsorship revenue into the business and manage relationships with key industry players. Another important aspect of the role is to work closely with editorial to create targeted features to drive advertising sales and provide advertorial support.

    Digital Developer

We are looking to hire a Digital Developer, with Mobile App creation skills to join our digital development team to help us expand and maintain our existing digital platforms.

    The Role
    Working both independently and as part of a team, you will be responsible for the development of a range of mobile and traditional sites and applications. Reporting to management and liaising closely with editorial, sales and marketing teams you will get the opportunity to work across a wide variety of technologies and have direct input on future digital strategies.

    Essential Skills:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
